Crop Top

I am absolutely loving the cropped sweater trend.  I think I love the fact that it's not too out there, yet it's still something I consider edgy (I know, I'm pretty wild).  I'm all for a good trend, but when I see a silly one, I know won't last - did I hear neon? - I try to resist the urge.  The cropped sweater may not last, but at least this one was only $15 and if it doesn't last, I can still wear it around the house with yogas.

Sweater: F21, Similar, Similar
Blouse: Old Navy (sold out), Similar, Love the bow
Booties: Target, Similar, So Fun!
Necklace: Groopdealz, Similar

Any trends you think will die shortly after they are born?

  1. I love how you styled the cropped sweater. I personally love when crop tops are paired with high waisted skirts :)

    1. Thank you! I love that look as well. After I saw these photos, I thought to myself... why didn't I wear a collared shirt instead. I have the perfect white and black grid print one that I haven't worn! I get in clothing ruts from time to time.

      Thanks for visiting :)

  2. Hey Whit,

Wanted to drop by and say a quick hello and give you some serious props on this blog. I've been following for a while now not only for your fabulous style [of which I am totally jealous!] but to also remind myself that yes, blogging is hard but if you love it and make time for it it's a wonderful addition to life :) I've kind of fallen off the blog-wagon in the last few months but seeing you post all the time makes me want to get back into it!

Hope all is well, would love to catch up next time your downtown!

    1. Hi Melaina!

Thank you for all of your kind words and I am so excited to see that you are following along. I completely understand how you are feeling; back in February the exact same thing happened to me. I felt so overwhelmed with work and moving, but I really started to miss it. If it's something that you are longing to get back in to, that is when you know you have a passion for it (which clearly you do - I can't cook to save my life). I am looking forward to your new posts, they are so inspiring. Yes, I agree we should get together soon, maybe go out to lunch :)

  3. Just started following you recently!! I love your style and feel like you're very adult and polished for your (our) age. Plus you have perfect hair and always look beautiful! My sister and I always talk about blogs and Instagram account that we knew about before they were hugely famous-- I feel like you're going to be one I'll be bringing up soon!

    1. Maya,

Thank you for following along. That means so much to hear! I love blogging and sharing the things I love with everyone, but it can get difficult from time to time with a full time job and all. Stay tuned, I will be doing more beauty post soon (hopefully a hair tutorial). Reading comments like yours is so encouraging and truly helps me stay motivated.
