My First Hunters

If you follow me on Instagram (which by the way, my Instagram name changed from @whitnichols to @whitcregger), you probably already saw my new Hunter boots.  I have wanted a pair of Hunters for quite a while now, but I could not justify the stiff price for a pair of rain boots.  So after I received a Nordstrom gift card that would almost cover the cost, I decided to at least go and try them on.  When I found out that the exact pair I wanted were available in my size, I finally gave in and purchase my first pair.  I originally thought I wanted the military red high gloss, but I also thought they were maybe a bit too bright and I would get sick of them.  After realizing this, I knew the "lava" original high gloss hunters would be the perfect fit for me.  Hunters runs a bit large, so I went with a size 7 (I'm normally a 7.5), which have a little extra space in them, so I can wear these adorable cable knit cuff welly socks for a cozier look.

I have linked similar rain boot options that are much more affordable...

  2. Congratulations on your wedding!! I love Hunters boots, super cute! I wish I could find a tall rain boot that has a zipper in the back or the side so that I could finally wear a pair. Have you seen any like that? Remember how Uggs used to have the short and tall boots but they finally made both of them with zippers now, thankfully. :)
I wonder if I bought a pair of the Hunters and had a professional put a zipper in them...that could work, right? :) Great blog, thanks for any help.

    1. Ashley, thank you! That is so sweet. They are my new favorite boots and they are incredibly comfy. I am not sure if they make any with zippers, I haven't seen any, but that doesn't mean they don't exist. I think having a professional put a zipper on would be a GREAT idea! Nordstrom is great about returns, if you were to purchase a pair and take them to someone to see what they say. It's worth a try!

      Thanks for stopping by :)

  3. There is no need of words to describe how magnificent your hunting attire looks. You look amazing from top to bottom. I like your hunter’s boots. Are those specifically made for females or are there similar models for males?
